Adventure guide example · Based on our past trip
Our three-day, self-guided river adventure took us through lush rainforest and deep canyons, paddling from camp to camp. Campsites were marked on our map and along the river. The short hike to the Bridge to Nowhere and a Māori welcome ceremony added variety to the adventure.
Our outfitter provided the canoe, waterproof barrels and transport to and from the river. We brought our tent, sleeping gear, food and cooking equipment, plus paddling clothes and dry clothes for camp.
